Jelly Warfare- 2D Shooter
This is my 2D Shooter Project. This project captures my journey learning game development. As I progress in this journey and I gain more understanding in the different areas of development better games will be produced.
Modifications:
- Changed the background of the Game
- Changed the music, the main menu and each level has separate music.
- Removed mouse based movement.
- Slowed Player shooting speed.
- Added Instructions.
- Changed Sprites such as:
- Player Animations
- Enemy Animations
- Death Animations for Player & Enemy
- Shooting Animation for Player
- Player Projectile
Bugs & Glitches:
- Diagonal Shooter Animations Are not synced with the shooting of the projectiles.
- The enemy death animation's last frame has a delay before leaving the screen.
- Player death animation spawns in the center sometimes.
- Player death animation has a significantly reduced scale size.
- Upon contact of enemy projectile the player will spawn in an area separate from the initial contact but the death animation may play in the area of initial contact.
NB: To my current knowledge in game design I am unable to fix these glitches. The grind never stops, one day I will be able to fix these problems.
